This seated Buddha in patinated bronze depicts Green Tara which is the Bodhisattva of active compassion
She is seated in lalitasana (royal ease). Her right foot extends downward, resting on a small lotus breakout sprouting from the base, while her right hand is in the varada mudra (boon-granting gesture) and her left hand is raised in vitarka mudra (teaching gesture)
Fine features like the precise rendering of the flowing lotus stalks, the intricate crown, and the delicate facial expression prove skilled craftmanship
