Pendant Lamp by Louis Kalff for Philips
€ 250
Chromed metal chandelier and opaline glass with 8 light sources
The central column looks like walnut but is in fact metal, the rest of the geometric structure is polished chrome-plated steel structure
It holds 4 main lower light points with marbled opaline glass alongside 4 secondary vertical glass elements with light points built directly into the central stem structure
The amber organic veining gives it an alabaster-like appearance when unlit and casts a warm, atmospheric glow when illuminated
Signs of wear consistent with age and use, one of the glass light fittings was glued and a little ball is missing on the top of the chandelier
Interbellum lighting
