This beautiful and authentic Delvaux clutch with a long link chain is a unique collector’s item.
It is crafted from high-quality, supple box calf leather. The clutch features a flap closure with a striking gold-coloured ‘D’ logo. This gold-coloured ‘D’ shows slight signs of wear, consistent with its use and age. The flap closure fastens with the original press stud.
This semi-circular vintage model dates from the 1970s. This is evident from the gold foil stamp featuring the Delvaux carriage logo, which was embossed into the leather during that period, as well as the inscription ‘DELVAUX’
The clutch features an elegant gold link chain, allowing it to be worn as a crossbody bag, a shoulder bag or a clutch. Inside, there is one compartment. The interior is lined with soft, light brown suede.
The clutch looks surprisingly contemporary and can be worn both during the day and in the evening; it is big enough to hold a mobile phone.
This clutch is quite rare; you won’t often see anyone else carrying this little bag. This model, with its distinctive semi-circular shape, has not been in production for decades.
In very good vintage condition, free from scratches and stains both inside and out. A unique vintage piece.
