This sleek Delvaux clutch in deep burgundy is crafted from grained jumping calfskin.
The envelope shape is timeless and elegantly finished with the discreet, embossed ‘D’ logo on the front, positioned on the press stud.
The interior of the clutch consists of a single spacious main compartment lined with natural, untreated, soft suede.
The matching wallet is ideal for loose change or bank cards and completes this set. The wallet is finished with the iconic gold-coloured ‘D’ logo on the fastening. The authentic Delvaux logos are clearly visible on both items.
The set dates from the 1970s or 1980s. This is evident from the gold foil stamp featuring the Delvaux carriage logo, which was embossed into the leather during that period, as well as the inscription ‘DELVAUX’ with ‘MADE IN BELGIUM’ directly beneath it.
Both items are in very good vintage condition; both the inside and outside are free from stains or scratches. An ideal, stylish combination to show off at a party or special occasion.
The clutch and wallet have been treated with leather wax and are ready for a new lease of life.
