Lidded vase in classic Imari style, the typical combination of cobalt blue, iron red and gold on a white porcelain background creates a beautiful colour palette.
The ginger pot or temple pot is hand-painted with birds and flowers.
Marked “Gold Imari, Hand Painted” on the bottom, it was produced in the Yazaemon family kiln (later Arita Bussan Co.)
