A rare design from Capron’s early period, produced at Atelier Capron in Vallauris, southern France. French studio ceramics and beech wood come together here in a harmonious whole
The table is known for its characteristic Garrigue tiles. These are handmade by pressing real leaves and plants into the wet clay before firing. During the firing process, the plants decompose, leaving a highly detailed, fossil-like imprint in the glaze.
