The undulating, organic forms in the white marble contrast beautifully with the clean, geometric stepped plinth of pink and black marble, which is characteristic of Baeteman’s later modernist and abstract work
The white marble is positioned at an angle on the plinth, creating an optical effect that appears different from every perspective
High-quality Carrara marble, Rosa Portugal marble and Nero Marquina marble were all used
Signed on the underside of the white marble
