This  piece is made out of in vitrified clay has 2 double ears and is an authentic Roger Guérin Art Deco studio pottery vase.
Crafted in Bouffioulx, Belgium, during the 1920s–1930s, this vessel is highly sought after by collectors for its monumental scale, distinct handle architecture, and complex salt-glazed colouration
Roger Guérin was an emblematic figure in twentieth-century Belgian ceramics. He perfected the traditional “grès salé grand feu” (high-fired salted stoneware) method. Dropping salt directly into the kiln at 1300 degrees celsius creates the signature high-gloss, orange-peel texture and volatile colour There is a rich gradient transition, moving from deep midnight browns into frothy ochre, beige, and slate blue drip crystallization
Signed and numbered (132K) at the bottom
With a total weight of 9,1 kg, it is regarded as a a monumental floor piece rather than standard domestic ware
