The circular table top is made out of hardwood and is styled like a classic serving platter with  a pronounced outer rim that curves smoothly downward
A thick, circular wooden cylinder block is mounted directly to the exact center of the table which slides easily into the solid base
The tabletop is a Unique trench work, the shell casing is marked ‘Patronenfabrik Karlsruhe’ and dated 1917
