The backrest consists of seven slender, vertical wooden slats that taper towards the bottom. They are anchored in the seat and converge at the top in an elegant, continuous curved wooden frame
The seat is made of solid wood and has a contoured, undulating (‘saddle seat’) ergonomic shape. This provides extra seating comfort without the need for upholstery.

The chair stands on four slender, angled legs that taper towards the bottom. This gives the design its characteristic, light-footed mid-century modern look.
Between the legs is a wooden cross-brace (rungs) in an H-pattern, which provides the chair with the necessary structural strength.
