Two opposing sides feature deep, figured wood aprons. The alternative sides utilise low-slung, sturdy horizontal cross-stretchers connecting the leg pairs to provide structural stability while keeping the profile open and airy
The legs are flush-joined directly to the upper frame using integrated dowel joints, creating a seamless and organic transition between the vertical legs and the horizontal support beams.
Stamped “Made in Norway” and labelled with Ganddal Møbelfabrikk logo and the serial number 004466
Based in Ganddal (a borough of Sandnes, Norway), Ganddal Møbelfabrikk was famous during the 1960s for producing high-end, clean-lined architectural furniture primarily using exceptionally rich, book-matched Brazilian rosewood and teak.
