€ 600
A saucer-shaped base supports floating, rounded arches, fine metal wire and abstract elements, which are arranged to form a layered, three-dimensional whole
The geometric composition is created using the traditional Japanese raku firing technique
The base is a matt, deep-dark clay resulting from the reduction process in smoke; contrasting blue and white stripes have been applied to it
Inside, there are two organic forms, as if they were fossils or organic finds resting, protected, in the centre of the structure
The texture is reminiscent of shells with undulating grooves running parallel to one another
It forms a soft, natural counterpoint to the rest of the sculpture, which has a sleek and geometric appearance
Total weight of 3.2 kg
